Together with Enrique Arce Gutierrez (Sphynx) Giek got selected for Choreographic Coding Lab 2019. The collaborative efforts were focused on refining a prototype that later found its fruition at LEF Rijkswaterstaat Global Lab. The project brought together a curated ensemble of imaginative programmers and choreography experts, converging to explore the intersection of technology and bodily movement. Through a dynamic four-day interdisciplinary exchange, participants engaged in experiments, masterclasses, and knowledge sharing.

This endeavor was made possible by the support of Fiber, ICK, Motion bank, and Dansmakers. The initiative, spearheaded by Motion Bank, is the Choreographic Coding Lab—a roving international initiative. It extends an invitation to arts professionals, providing them with a platform to transmute choreographic and dance elements into digital constructs, thereby infusing choreographic sensibilities into their individual creative pursuits.
