Frederique and Giek merge together in ‘The 5th Dimension and Beyond’ to channel large amounts of data quickly into scattered and rather random bizarre advice which may or may not be the logic of the Universe. This short but highly intuitive outbreak of self expression is aimed to make the audience become aware of mystical truths underlying reality, such as the inseparable nature of all things at the level of Spirit.
During the holistic pop-up music performance they start a conversation with each other, the audience, the Cosmos, their past life selves and beings from different realms. An improvisational and theatrical co-creation as an introduction into a deep ritualistic cleansing of the mind, body and soul in order to fill the void Within.
The ultimate, and perhaps slightly too ambitious goal is to plant an energetic seed towards gaining magical powers like dream manifestation.
‘The 5th Dimension and Beyond’ is a collaboration with good friend and artist Frederique Jonker. They had their first 15 minute show at Bauhaus Berlin and an expanded ritualistic version was seen at Arty Amsterdam and Death and Rebirth festival Amsterdam in March 2024.
They have planned to work on their show during a residency at Performing Arts Forum (PAF) in France december 2024.
